Wylfa Open Surgery September 2012

Horizon will hold its next Open Surgery at Cemaes Village Hall on Monday 17 September, at which local people can ask questions about plans for a new nuclear power station at Wylfa.

As with previous events, the September Open Surgery will give people the opportunity to meet Horizon’s project team and find out more about its work. The surgery will take place between 1pm and 7pm on 17 September at Cemaes Village Hall. No appointment is necessary.

Alan Smith, Head of Site Development at Horizon Nuclear Power, said: “While our shareholders seek new owners for Horizon, our local work such as Open Surgeries, and survey work essential to the project, continues. We also attended the Anglesey Show recently, and we will be returning to Holyhead for our October Open Surgery. If anyone has any questions about the project, or would like to know more about our current activities, please come along and talk to the team.”

Anybody who has questions about the project can also contact the Wylfa team by calling its hotline on 0800 954 9516 or by emailing wylfaenquiries@horizonnuclearpower.com
