Mobility of nuclear professionals

Nuclear recruitment specialists Thomas Thor Associates, the European Commission’s Human Resources Observatory in the Nuclear Sector EHRO-N and the European Nuclear Society are launching a joint investigation into the mobility of nuclear professionals in Europe.

The objectives of the investigation include:

  • Understanding in more detail the international mobility of professionals in the European nuclear sector, taking in to account level of experience, languages and preferred locations amongst other factors.
  • Updating the report carried out by EHRO-N in 2010 and identifying any changes in  preferences and attitudes to mobility
  • Identifying potential skill shortages or skill surpluses that could arise as a result of potential movement of nuclear professionals, including the potential of nuclear professionals moving to work outside of Europe.

If you are working in the European nuclear industry then please complete our survey by clicking on the link below. All responses are confidential and a free copy of the survey findings will be available in early 2013. Please feel free to share this link with other people in the European nuclear industry.

On December 12th 2012 a name will be selected at random by Thomas Thor Associates from people that complete the survey through this link and the winner will receive an Apple iPad. The winner will be notified before December 14th 2012.
