Radioactive waste characterisation seminar

Stuart Newstead with Radiological Incidentals is running a workshop on Radioactive Waste Characterisation 18 April at Culham Science Centre.

Characterisation is a key stage in the successful management of radioactive wastes. A satisfactory understanding of the radionuclide, chemical and physical composition of wastes is necessary to meet regulatory requirements for their treatment and disposal.

This workshop will provide an update on measurement methodologies, technological innovations, regulatory requirements and areas for future research.

The workshop will be followed by a free tour of the JET facility at Culham.

Spaces for the tour are limited and will be strictly assigned on a first come first served basis, so please register early to avoid disappointment!

You can register for the workshop here.
