New support programme from Nuclear AMRC

namrcNuclear AMRC is inviting manufacturing companies to join a new support programme to help them compete for work in the global nuclear sector.

The £76 million Civil Nuclear Sharing in Growth programme (CNSIG) aims to develop the UK manufacturing supply chain and help companies win work in nuclear programmes – including new build, operations and decommissioning – at home and overseas. The programme is part-funded by UK government through the Regional Growth Fund, and supported by Rolls-Royce and other industry leaders.

As part of CNSIG, the Nuclear AMRC is offering manufacturers a four-year programme of intensive business development and training worth £1 million. The support is aimed at UK-based manufacturers of mechanical equipment suitable for the nuclear industry, and tailored to the specific needs of their business.

Five companies from along the supply chain successfully applied in the first phase of the programme. Applications for the second phase are now open.

For full details about the programme, including the application form please visit the Nuclear AMRC website.

Applications must be submitted by 20 October 2013.
