Horizon October Open Surgery

horizon-logoHorizon Nuclear Power’s project team will be on hand to answer questions about its proposed new power station at Wylfa on Monday 21 October at the village hall, Cemaes.

Part of the company?s monthly Open Surgery series of events, local people can drop in at any point between 1pm and 7pm.

Alan Smith, Head of Site Development at Horizon Nuclear Power, said: “Our monthly Open Surgeries continue to be popular and we really welcome the chance to answer questions and hear feedback face to face. I?d encourage anyone who?d like to know more about our work at Wylfa to pop along and meet the team.”

The proposed new nuclear power station at Wylfa will create around 1,000 permanent jobs over many decades to operate the plant and will require a peak workforce of up to 6,000 during the construction phase.
