Sellafield Ltd is developing its acquisition strategy for long term delivery arrangements to replace the current Decommissioning Framework Agreement when it expires.
The new arrangements will deliver decommissioning, minor projects, demolition and waste streaming as well as technical support activities.
This industry day will update and refresh information previously shared with the supply chain at the Decommissioning Framework Agreement Market Engagement Day held on 23rd October 2013.
The new delivery arrangements (to be known as the Decommissioning Delivery Partnership, or DDP) will be responsible for key elements of the Decommissioning delivery programme. This will include project delivery activities, as well as technical and management support.
This acquisition process will target an award date in quarter 2 or 3 of 2015. Supplier qualification will start in Spring 2014 and tendering will take place in the Summer.
