The call for submission of abstracts has been issued for the International Conference on Water Chemistry of Nuclear Reactor Systems (Nuclear Plant Chemistry Conference, NPC 2016). This will be held in the Brighton Dome from 2nd-7th October 2016.
NPC 2016, which is being organised by the Nuclear Institute, will be the 20th edition of the bi-annual nuclear conference and sees the conference, which started out as the Bournemouth Conference on Water Chemistry of Nuclear Reactor Systems in 1977, return to the UK after a long absence.
Delighted by the return of the conference to the UK, Andy Rudge (EDF), Chair of the Conference Organising Committee, believes NPC 2016 represents a wonderful opportunity for the UK Nuclear Industry to reassert itself on the international stage.
“It is fantastic news that we can announce the return of the Nuclear Plant Chemistry Conference to the UK after a sixteen year absence,” Mr. Rudge said, announcing the call for papers to all applicants. “This international conference series has a long history with the UK with eight of the first twelve conferences being held in Bournemouth- organised by one of the Nuclear Institute’s predecessor organisations, the BNES. Its return to the UK in 2016 is a sign of renewed confidence within the UK nuclear industry and we look forward to hosting a really successful NPC 2016 Conference in Brighton for the international nuclear plant chemistry community.”
The official website for the internationally renowned conference is now live to receive submissions with exhibitors from around the globe expected to submit presentations for the conference.
