NuGen Launches YouTube Channel
NuGen, the UK energy company proposing to build the Moorside nuclear power station next to Sellafield Site in West Cumbria, has launched a YouTube Channel featuring films outlining the plans.
The channel (available by clicking here) hosts videos and animations that provide valuable background and supporting information about the public consultation on the company’s plans for Moorside.
Three short videos are already available on the channel:
- Introducing the Moorside Project – A short animation which shows the early plans for the Moorside Project and how you can ‘Have Your Say’ (click here);
- Talking Moorside – NuGen staff talk about the Moorside Project and their involvement in the public consultation (click here); and
- Moorside Information Centre opening – A short film of the opening of NuGen’s continuous public exhibition in Whitehaven Civic Hall (click here).
John McNamara, Head of Corporate Communications, said: “We aim to reach as many people as possible with this public consultation. By using social media, such as YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter we can make information far more accessible and make it even easier for more people to have their say.”
The 10-week consultation period runs until the 25th July – further details of how to ‘Have Your Say’ can be found at www.nugenconsultation.com.
