The information events, which will all run between 2pm and 7pm, are designed to show how certain parts of the Wylfa Newydd plans have developed since the first phase of consultation was held at the end of 2014.
Visitors to the events will be able to find out more about Horizon’s latest thinking on road improvements for the A5025, workers’ accommodation, a logistics centre and a park & ride facility.
While these events won’t be a formal part of the consultation process, they will provide a useful opportunity for local people to give Horizon their views on the elements of the Project that will need to be developed away from site, in other parts of Anglesey. The information gathered will then be used by the development team as they prepare for the second phase of community consultation, scheduled for the end of 2015.
Charlie Tasker, Site Development Director at Horizon Nuclear Power, said: “We learned a lot during our first phase of community consultation and we’ve been making good progress this year in adding more detail to our proposals. We want to show people how certain elements of our plans are progressing and find out what they think, so we can then bear that in mind as we finalise our plans for the next phase of consultation. We look forward to seeing people there.”
