Horizon restarts drop in sessions following formal consultation

Horizon is restarting its Open Surgeries following the completion of the second phase of community consultation on plans for Wylfa Newydd. The Surgeries are held each month at a different location on Anglesey and give people the chance to meet the Wylfa Newydd team, and ask questions about the Project. Anyone can attend and you don’t need to book an appointment.

The next of these drop-in events will be held on Monday 21 November at Cemaes Village Hall, from 1pm – 7pm.

Richard Foxhall, Horizon’s Stakeholder Relations Manager, said: “Even though our latest stage of consultation on the Project as a whole closed in October, it’s still really important people have the opportunity to come and talk to us about our plans for Wylfa Newydd.

“We’ve shared a lot of information on the Project recently with local people, particularly about our plans to start preparing and clearing the site ready for construction. This is the first major phase of our project, so this event in Cemaes is another opportunity for local people to ask us questions about it. We look forward to seeing people there.”
