The National Nuclear Laboratory’s External Relations Director, Adrian Bull, has been given a long service award by the Nuclear Institute’s North West Branch. The award presented at the North West branch’s well attended annual dinner at the Principal in Manchester was kept under wraps until the last.

Speaking to Nuclear Matters about his surprise at the award, Adrian said, “I was enjoying a pleasant evening with colleagues and guests on the NNL table when the NI NW Branch Chair, Monica Mwanje, started to announce details of the last award and I suddenly realised that she was describing me! I was stunned and humbled to get an award for doing something which is so enjoyable – namely working with colleagues in the NI and across the wider industry on a variety of interesting activities.”
