The licensee, Magnox North Limited, has requested Consent to start-up Reactor 2 at Wylfa Nuclear Power Station from HSE Nuclear Directorate (ND) following the completion of its 2010 statutory outage.
British Energy Generation Limited, the licensee of Sizewell B nuclear power station, has requested agreement from HSE Nuclear Directorate to modifications to the reactor pressuriser.
Four new reports are now available online, three for Capenhurst (Urenco UK Ltd) regarding construction requests and another for sub-underleasing at Harwell.
This builds on a discussion paper published in May 2009 and takes into account the feedback received from stakeholders. It sets out the outcomes that can be expected in June 2011, when we complete our assessment of the safety case of the designs.
