Horizon Nuclear Power today announced it will host a series of exhibitions across Anglesey and North Wales in November, setting out latest plans for a new nuclear power station at Wylfa.

The licensee, Magnox North Limited, has requested Consent to start-up Reactor 2 at Wylfa Nuclear Power Station from HSE Nuclear Directorate (ND) following the completion of its 2010 statutory outage.
Horizon Nuclear Power outlined further details of its nuclear power programme in the UK. Given the right market conditions the company proposes to have its first reactor, at Wylfa on the Isle of Anglesey, commissioned as early as 2020.
